Drs. Rubin and Sentelle selected Texas Super Dentists 2019
We’re proud to announce that both pediatric dentists at Frisco Kid’s Dentistry, Dr. Paul I. Rubin and Dr. David Sentelle, were selected as 2019 “Texas Super Dentists.”
Super Dentists identifies top dentists as selected by their peers and the independent research of MSP Communications. Dentists cannot pay to be included on Super Dentists listings nor are they paid to provide input. Dentists are selected using a patented multiphase selection process, combining peer nominations and evaluations with independent research.
The Super Dentist selection process:
Drs. Rubin and Sentelle were selected by Super Dentists in a thorough process that combines peer nomination, peer evaluation by practice area, and independent research and examination. Each year thousands of ballots are sent to dentists asking them to nominate colleagues, they know to be exceptional in their specified field (dentists may not self-nominate). Each nominee is then evaluated using the following indicators with varying point values:
- Years of experience
- Fellowships
- Professional activities
- Leadership positions
- Academic achievements and positions
- Board certifications
- Publications, lectures, and presentations
- Honors and awards
- Other outstanding achievements
Nominees are then grouped into specialties. Dentists in each area, who have the highest scores from the nomination and evaluation steps are invited to serve on a “blue ribbon panel.” Each panelist is asked to review and evaluate a list of nominees from his/her area of focus. Once the points are totaled, only the highest-scoring dentists are included on the Super Dentists list. The Super Dentists list is limited to 10% of the dentists within the respective state or region.
