Meet Dr. Ashley

C. Ashley Orynich, DMD, MPA, MS, is a Board-Certified pediatric dentist who loves making kids smile with her compassion and expertise. Known by her patients as Dr. Ashley, she has more than 12 years of professional experience in the field of dentistry having graduated as one of 35 students from the top-ranking university in the world, Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Ashley has returned to her Texas roots where she is growing her patient base with the incredible team at Lonestar Kid’s Dentistry in Frisco, McKinney, and Prosper. She is an esteemed member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Southwest Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Additionally, she is actively involved in public speaking engagements and delivers presentations in her areas of expertise, globally and locally.

Dr. Ashley loves working with children and will forever be a child at heart!

Dr. Ashley serves as Adjunct Faculty with Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry and is affiliated with Children’s Medical Center Dallas. Her unique educational background includes having graduated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine as the first dental student in the university’s history to have received a concurrent degree Master in Public Administration. Moreover, she holds a Certificate of Pediatric Dentistry and a Master of Oral Science from Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry, where she received specialized training in medically-complex cases across multiple hospital settings, including the Texas Scottish Rite for Children and Children’s Medical Center. While in residency, she was nationally awarded the Samuel D. Harris Research and Policy Fellowship by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Ashley has also published numerous papers on pediatric oral health and enjoys being at the forefront of healthcare innovation and technology. Dr. Ashley’s international research background includes the study of oral health policies in Geneva, Switzerland, and subsequently the application of these findings toward collaborative research in Quito, Ecuador and Dakar, Senegal. Dr. Ashley brings to her local community the well-earned reputation of a warm and engaging practitioner and educator, gifted in connecting to both children and adults alike.

Dr. Ashley’s success can be attributed to a life-long pursuit of learning, her supportive family, and grace through faith. Dr. Ashley loves working in pediatrics because kids make everything more fun! Singing and laughing with a child while repairing their smile is one of the greatest joys of her profession. Dr. Ashley is passionate about providing a great dental experience while preparing children and their families for a lifetime of healthy smiles.
