From beginning to end, the entire staff was kind, patient, and incredibly informative. Vy and Dr. Rubin were especially patient and gentle with our daughter, who was a little hesitant to let them examine her at first. Aubrey and Brina did an amazing job keeping her excited, comfortable, and distracted throughout the appointment. We are so grateful for such a positive first experience and can’t wait to come back in six months!

September 1, 2026Dr. Ashley is incredibly patient and kind doctor! Her staff is friendly and bubbly. They all make sure our kids are taken are of and feel comfortable. Our first visit, we had a hard time and now a few years later, my kiddos are happy every time we go! (The prize wall doesn’t hurt 😉) there is never a long wait and only a couple patients are taken care of at one time slot.

We brought our newborn in for a consultation and potential upper lip tie release, and from the moment we walked in, we felt like he was in the best hands. I especially want to recognize Courtney and dr ashley, who was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. She took him back for his intake, made sure everything was explained to us, and was so gentle and caring with our brand-new baby. She was also the one who took him back for his procedure and brought him back to us afterward. She took the time to explain the aftercare instructions and what we should expect moving forward, which gave us so much reassurance as new parents. Having your newborn go through any procedure can be nerve-wracking, but Courtney was so kind, patient, and reassuring every step of the way. You can truly tell that she cares about the babies and families she works with, and we are so grateful that she was the person caring for our little guy. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional, and we never felt rushed or like just another appointment. We are so thankful for the care we received and would absolutely recommend this office to other parents! 💙

August 17, 2026Dr. Sentence and the staff were all welcoming and very friendly. I went to have my 2 month old seen for concern of tongue and lip tie. They confirmed he does have it but assured me that it isn't severe and that he's okay and that we'll monitor it for now and not immediately correct them. They let me onow they can stretch over time snd not always need a procedure. First time mom who was so concerned about my little guy needing help while also scared of the procedure and its healing process. So glad I chose this dentist office for my little guy. I was not judged for being so worried about him.

Dr. Ashley and the team at Lonestar were super kind, empathetic and presented us with all the information we needed to make the decision to move forward with the procedure. Everything went smoothly and we really entrusted them with our son’s care. We recently visited Lonestar one year later for our son’s first dentist appointment. It was a calm and easygoing visit and great experience overall! Dr. Ashley is such a delight! If you are looking for a dentist for your little one, Dr. Ashley and the LoneStar team are it!

Rather than being a traumatic experience for him, it did not phase him. He cannot wait to go in for visits to Dr. Sentelle which speaks volume of him and his staff.

August 14, 2026Love the staff and the doctor/ patient-parent time spent. Been going here for years. We’ve just now aged out and are sad to have to move on. Dr Rubin is fantastic! He always had time for me to come at the end of the visit and update me on how my kiddo is doing and listens to parent thoughts and coaches my kiddo on good dental hygiene. We’re going to miss him and the staff!

He really takes the time to get to know his patients and remembers them personally, so you never feel like just another appointment. What we appreciate most is how much we trust his judgment. He doesn’t recommend procedures just for the sake of doing them and is very honest about when something is or isn’t necessary. It’s clear he genuinely has his patients’ best interests in mind. Checking in through their patient system was quick and effortless, and we were greeted with the warmest smiles. The entire staff made my daughter feel comfortable right away, especially her dental hygienist, who immediately put her at ease. Dr. Ashley is an absolute gem - so warm, kind, and incredibly informative. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly and made the entire visit a positive experience for both my daughter and me. You can tell this practice is exceptionally well run. Every staff member was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making our visit a great one. After leaving, my daughter said she loves the dentist and can’t wait to go back. August 4, 2026Hi there!! Not sure why you would want your kiddo to see anyone else but Dr.Ashley! Being a first time mommy and finding out my newborn had a tongue tie was SCARY! Dr.Ashley spent so much time with my husband and I (over an hour) explaining the clipping procedure and answering any and every question we had!! Being a new parent is intimidating but Dr.Ashley was so incredibly loving and comforting during the whole process. Her bedside manner is 12/10 amazing and she has such a gentle demeanor. Her medical assistants, front staff etc are just as kind. My sweet girl is healed and happy and that’s all thanks to Dr.Ashley!

They talk through all of the options, and never pressure you into anything - just walk you through the pros and cons of any choice, making recommendations along the way! He has such a fun and calming personality that immediately put our daughter at ease. Throughout the procedure, we felt completely comfortable and knew she was in the best hands. Her teeth look amazing, but even more importantly, she walked away with such a positive experience that she’s actually excited to go back to the dentist! We drive 35 minutes to Lonestar Kids Dentistry, and it is worth every single minute. Finding a pediatric dentist who combines exceptional skill with such compassion is rare. We are so grateful for Dr. Rubin and his wonderful team and couldn’t recommend them more highly!

He is wonderful with our kids, answers all our questions and really helps to find ways to reach kids in an impactful way about their dental hygiene. My kids always enjoy going to the dentist as the office is so friendly and is really designed for kids. Our oldest has "graduated" to adult care. I think he is going to be spoiled trying to find an adult dentist that is as personable and caring.

July 10, 2026Our newborn had a severe tongue (and lip) tie that was making breastfeeding very difficult. We met with Dr. Sentelle when our baby was just a week old, and he walked us step-by-step through the procedure for releasing the ties. We were very anxious, but Dr. Sentelle's experience and expertise immediately put us at ease. He was able to thoroughly answer all of our questions, and we decided to do the procedure that day. The procedure only took 10 minutes, and our baby came back happy and ready to nurse. Dr. Sentelle did two follow up visits with us to help address our questions after the procedure, and referred us to a trusted lactation consultant to help us troubleshoot further issues with breastfeeding. Our son's mouth healed beautifully with no complications. We highly recommend seeing Dr. Sentelle for tongue or lip ties.

I brought my two little ones in, and from the moment we walked through the door, everyone was so warm, welcoming, and patient. They have created such a calm, friendly environment that immediately put both my kids (and me!) at ease. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, professional, and genuinely seemed to enjoy working with children. Dr. Rubin was fantastic—gentle, personable, and great with my kids. He took the time to make them feel comfortable, which made all the difference. As a busy stay-at-home mom, taking two little ones to appointments can sometimes feel overwhelming, but this visit was the complete opposite. The entire process was smooth, organized, and stress-free. My kids actually left with smiles on their faces and are already asking when they get to go back! If you’re looking for a dentist who truly cares about children and makes the experience positive for the whole family, I can’t recommend Dr. Paul Rubin and his team enough. We’re so grateful we found this practice!

June 17, 2026After four different dentists and multiple appointments that ended in tears, my daughter had become so anxious about dental visits that we had to postpone treatment because she refused to go back. We were referred to Lone Star, and the experience was completely different. From the moment we arrived, the staff was patient, kind, and understanding of her anxiety. They made her feel comfortable, respected, and safe. When the appointment was over, my daughter walked out, looked at me, smiled, and said, “I love this place. I can’t wait to come back.” As the parent of a very anxious child, those are words I never thought I would hear after a dental appointment. I am beyond grateful we found this office. Even though it’s a 30-minute drive from our home, it is worth every minute. Thank you for turning what had been a stressful experience into such a positive one. June 3, 2026I went to Dr. Sentelle’s practice seeking a second opinion regarding a treatment plan for my 5 year old sons cavities. Another dentist wanted to sedate him and do crowns. His treatment plan took into consideration my sons complete dental history, medical history, my concerns and my sons age. It alleviated my anxiety knowing that his approach was conservative but would take care of the issue. His bedside (chair side?) manner was great, he was kind and approachable. My son handled the procedure well Afterwards my son was complaining about pain a few times and each time Dr. Sentelle took the matter seriously, made us feel heard and took steps to resolve the issue. We will be going back again if we have more dental work needed. And we recommend him to everyone! My only wish is that they would be in-network with my insurance! Then I could get my kids regular cleanings here too

May 28, 2026My daughter has been a patient since she was about 3. Now she’s a 8 and today had to have 2 baby teeth extracted. My daughter was very nervous (so was I) but Dr. Ashley was so incredibly comforting and patient. The dental assistant made my daughter feel comfortable despite being petrified initially. Both teeth were successfully extracted and I can say 1 hour later my daughter was so happy and looking forward to her future pretty smile she’s on the road to.

We originally scheduled our newborn’s tongue/lip tie revision here after calling around to several different pediatric dentist recommendations- it wasn’t the cheapest option and we drive about an hour each way, but we chose Lonestar purely because of how friendly the receptionist was. (As someone who often gets anxious at dentists offices myself, this is priceless.) After multiple visits now, including our 2 toddlers’ first cleanings ever, we can say every single person we’ve interacted with in the office is just as incredibly kind. They go above & beyond, and Dr Rubin is AMAZING! Very personable & also knowledgeable. The office is comfortable & beautiful. Our kids had a blast getting their teeth cleaned with the fun overhead TVs, sunglasses, balloons, and all the arcade games to stay entertained while waiting (but we’ve never had to wait long). As a mom of 3 very high energy kiddos 3 & under, it’s so efficient & gives me peace of mind being able to stay with them all being cared for at the same time, and every staff member has been so helpful & thoughtful making our visits as smooth as possible, like bringing us extra toys & coloring for the toddlers during the baby’s procedure. A huge sigh of relief, we are so incredibly grateful to have found Lonestar and would recommend a million times over. Worth every penny & every minute of travel. My kids love learning to take care of their teeth & actually keep asking when they get to go back!

And it definitely doesn’t hurt that there’s a life size Cactus Jack in the lobby, which the kids love. Highly recommend!

Dr. Rubin is incredibly knowledgeable and so great with children. He explains everything in a way that both parents and kids can easily understand, which really helps everyone feel comfortable and informed. The staff is truly the best part of this office. Everyone is kind, patient, and so welcoming with the kids. Stephanie in particular has gone above and beyond for our family. She is compassionate, attentive, and makes us feel genuinely cared for. She was super nice and worked so well with the kids with her calm personality. Dr. Ashely Orinoco was AMAZING! The moment we walked into the office it was immediate comfort and kindness. My newborn had a tongue and lip tie. Wonderful experience!!May 7, 2026My 5 year old was very nervous to get his teeth cleaned in the “big boy” dentist chair, but the staff were excellent at encouraging him using simple and positive language. They explained to my son what each tool did and what it was for. Our hygienist Melissa was calming and supportive while Dr. Ruben was kind and very informative to both patient and parent. The staff went at his pace and made sure he was comfortable while he watched a cartoon during the cleaning. My son left the office with a big happy smile and said, “I don’t know why I was so scared. That was fun!” I couldn’t be more happier that this was such a positive experience for my son’s first “big kid” dentist visit. I highly recommend this practice!

April 23, 2026Amazing, amazing, amazing. The staff are amazing, friendly, approachable, helpful and super kind with my toddler. My toddler had oral surgery today for some issues and everything was explained. We didn’t feel rushed. Dr Rubin made sure we felt comfortable and understood what was taking place. He was great! I want my kids to see him from here on out! They called after we got home to check in on my toddler. They have amazing care! Dr Debbie was the anesthesiologist and MY GOODNESS was she just the SWEETEST!!! Can’t recommend enough!

April 12, 2026This was our first visit to this dentist with our 2 year old toddler. We were a bit nervous at first, since we didn’t know how she would do having someone look in her mouth. Well we were immediately blown away, and any uneasiness we had was instantly taken away by the friendliness of the staff! They went above and beyond to make us feel so comfortable, and were so sweet and patient with our toddler! From the super friendly front desk staff, to the amazing assistant/hygienist that patiently cleaned our daughter’s teeth it all made us feel so comfortable! The assistant/hygienist Katie was so sweet, explaining everything the dentist was going to do so we knew what to expect. She was also extremely gentle when brushing our daughter’s teeth which was so appreciated! The dentist Dr Rubin was the absolute best and so kind! He made our daughter smile and laugh, which is not the norm for her with strangers! He was so thorough educating us about our toddlers tooth development, and things we didn’t even know. We would 100% recommend this business every time to anyone that will listen! We are so excited to have a dentist we can truly trust throughout our daughters youth. They really made us feel like family! Thank you again to everyone that made us feel so welcome! Also the fun little cactus man statue in the front for our daughter to take a pic with, the games in the waiting area, the balloon and fun toy gift she got was the icing on the cake! AMAZING!!!

Katie did a great job explaining all the things I needed to know about my infants teeth. They made it as painless as possible to clean a 19 month olds teeth. Everyone I encountered was very nice. I would recommend for anyone looking for a place to bring a young child for a teeth cleaning.

Aubrey was so delightful and cheery, engaging us immediately and answering our questions as she thoroughly expressed the process. Stephanie wrapped up the visit with a nice bow. She was clear with the pricing and logistics which can be a sore subject but not here. Stephanie was open and understood our concerns and reasssured they were here for us. Dr. Rubin was fabulous. January 22, 2026I’ll start first with the awesome exciting environment for the kids as they come in. When you walk through the doors, the office is clean and kid friendly. They have video games and different kid’s toys. The staff has been professional and have the best tone when speaking with their mini patients! Ana was the dental assistant for today, and she interacted with my nervous daughter with such compassion. She draped my daughter with a weighted blanket, gave her some comforting squishy toys, and even gave her a weighted stuffy to help her feel comfortable. She kept a comforting hand on my daughter during her procedure and assisted Dr. Rubin very efficiently. Now on to the dentist! Dr. Rubin lets you sit in the room to observe- which I gratefully did! There’s something about seeing your child in caring hands that makes the whole procedure feel smooth. You get to witness your child’s calm and ease with this awesome team. Dr. Rubin is very good at explaining what will be done and talks to the patient (and parent!) on ways to ensure dental future is on the best track. We’re thrilled to have Lonestar for future care. Oh! They also send the kiddos out with a balloon and little treat for coming in.

January 16, 2026We just moved from the north Houston area and needed to get our kids a cleaning as soon as we moved, we asked around and this place was recommended a lot. Our first visit went great, not quite as explanatory to kids on each thing they do like their dentist in Houston, but they were Great and my kids had no issues with their cleanings. Fast forward to 2 weeks later and my son fell on our new stairs and chipped his adult tooth. We were only able to get in the next morning with the other dentist, but he did such a good job fixing the tooth. My son struggled a little more than previous procedures, maybe reacted differently to the gas this time or just more anxiety. Who knows. I would love to see them do more showing each instrument like his previous procedures, so he remembers each one is gentle and how it sounds and feels before, but either way, they were amazing with him. I’m very thankful we had already had a visit within a week of moving, so that it was more seamless. I loved that they give a weighted blanket for the procedure, as their previous dentist had big stuffed animals they could hug, and these blankets are great for feeling secure Definitely great dentists 🦷

I had an amazing experience. She took the time to talk me through what she found during her assessment and the options for treatment. She showed me so much grace during this time and and when I nurses my son immediately after the procedure I was able to see an instantaneous improvement in my son's ability to nurse. Fast forward to 2 years later and I scheduled a follow just to check on the healing post procedure because my little guy is a little delayed in speech. She again was very patient and thorough with explaining her findings during the assessment and what the next steps look like. What I liked most about my visits are the time and patience extended to me and my family, I never felt rushed. I also felt like Dr. Ashley was invested in the care and well-being of my son. 100% recommended!

My son used to be scared of the dentist due to having a bad experience when he was first going. Once we found Dr. Rutledge those fears went away and he now loves it. Dr. Rutledge also found an extra tooth in the roof of our sons mouth off of a simple x-ray and we’re so thankful she did because it was impacting his adult teeth already. The dr she referred us to was just as amazing as she is. We’re so thankful we were referred to Rutledge Dentistry by our pediatrician!

One of my daughters has some intense anxiety and he has handled her so beautifully. He definitely has a special touch. We are so lucky that our family has found him. My girls will stay with him until he makes them see an adult dentist. Look no further Dr. rubin is the BEST pediatric Dentist in town!! He is worth every minute of the drive!! I would drive twice the distance!!

Our newborn had to have lip tie released and she made sure we were totally comfortable and informed before, during and after the procedure. Everyone has been so kind and helpful - we will definitely be back when our son is older. This practice is worth the extra drive / distance to us!
October 27, 2025The staff was very kind, especially to my very uncooperative 16 month old. The office is very clean and has games and toys to occupy kids while you wait. We'll be back for hopefully a more cooperative visit in the future.

October 24, 2025This is the place to go if your infant has a tongue or lip tie! They were able to see us and do the procedure within a few days so breastfeeding could be a success. The pricing was completely reasonable. Dr.S is so kind and very professional. You can tell he has kids of his own the way he treats babies and talks through everything with the parents. My babe latched right away…It was literally like a magic procedure. Everyone there is so kind! Definitely going to look into switching my other kiddos to this dentistry!

October 15, 2025The absolute BEST!! We brought our 4mth old to her to fix a tight upper and lower lip. Dr. Orynich did not rush us through our questions; she made sure we felt 100% comfortable before the procedure. So, when it was time for baby's first dentist appointment, it was a no-brainer.

October 8, 2025Dr Sentelle has been so amazing for our 3 year old. We tried SO many of the recommended dentists in Dallas that only wanted to do IV sedation and we just didn’t feel comfortable with that. He was so kind and didn’t even mention IV Sedation, he said he wanted to try oral sedation and thought she’d do great. It was so quick and fast and were so thankful we found them! The ladies at the front were also top notch and paired us with him after listening to what we had gone through. The lady said yall need Dr Sentelle. We definitely did! Our 3 year old LOVES the dentist now and it is well worth 1.5 hour drive one way for us. They also are nice if you do fluoride or not, they aren’t pushy and help support what you are comfortable with. Anyways, definitely go see him!

He made great suggestion to us. Both times the issue resolved themselves without any intervention. I trust Dr. Sentelle's judgement and he truly cares about taking care your kiddos.
