Laser Frenectomies to release Tongue and/or Lip Ties

Tie revisions, called frenectomies, remove the tissue or tight frenulum under the tongue or upper lip. Our Board Certified pediatric dentists, Dr. Paul Rubin and Dr. David Sentelle, use a state-of-the-art laser for a safe, quick procedure that allows for greater tongue and lip mobility. In some cases, frenectomies can aid in the prevention of other health problems like dental decay or spacing, speech difficulties, and digestive issues. We can perform an emergency newborn frenectomy or schedule more routine tongue tie and lip tie surgeries for infants, children and teens.
